Senior guard Seth Clark (Lewis Center/Olentangy) knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to kick off a 17-2 run that put 17th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay, and the Bishops went on to a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Kenyon on Saturday in Gambier.

Kenyon's Alex Laub opened the second half with a lay-in to give the Lords a 33-29 lead, but Clark drilled a 3-pointer on the Bishops' ensuing possession, then followed with another 3-pointer just over a minute later to put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay.

Senior wing Will Orr (Johnstown/Johnstown-Monroe) followed with a 3-pointer, sophomore post Derrick Wyche (Lewis Center/Olentangy) added a lay-in and a 3-pointer, and sophomore post Grant Gossard (Westerville/Olentangy Orange) hit a 3-pointer that gave the Bishops a 46-35 lead at the 13:58 mark.

Ryan O'Neil hit a 3-pointer that brought Kenyon within 46-38, but Clark drove for a pair of lay-ins just under 20 seconds apart to extend the lead to 50-38, and the margin would remain in double digits throughout the remainder of the contest.

Ohio Wesleyan had taken an early 4-3 lead on a Gossard free throw, but Carter Powell and Will Sigl each had a pair of baskets during a 15-2 burst that opened up an 18-6 Kenyon lead midway through the first half.

The Lords still led, 30-19, with 4:23 left in the first half but did not score another basket during the period as the Bishops closed out the half with a 10-1 run that included 3-pointers by Orr and Gossard.

Clark led the Bishops with 21 points.  Gossard finished with 17 points and a team-high 10 boards for his second consecutive double-double, and senior guard Nate Axelrod (Dublin/Coffman) added 15 points and a team-high 7 assists.

Laub and Sigl had 12 points apiece for Kenyon.
