Ohio Wesleyan University junior James Huddleston (Pontiac, Mich./Saint Marys Preparatory) and junior Jessie Huschart (Columbus/Hilliard Davidson) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 7, it was announced by the NCAC.
Huschart, a midfielder, was named Women's Soccer Player of the Week. She scored the game-winning goal as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Kenyon, 1-0, in an NCAC tournament semifinal game on Wednesday. In the NCAC tournament championship game on Saturday, she set up the game-winning goal with a corner kick in the 87th minute of Ohio Wesleyan's 1-0 win over Allegheny. The win gives Ohio Wesleyan its first NCAC tournament title since 2005, and gives the Bishops the NCAC's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III tournament.
