Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Ohio Wesleyan University junior Sarah Alflen (Avon Lake) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 23, it was announced by the NCAC.

Alflen, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Competing at Muskingum's Amy Adams Memorial Invitational, Alflen finished third in the discus, sixth in the hammer, and seventh in the shot put to help Ohio Wesleyan to a third-place finish in the team standings.
