How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose OWU partly for the opportunity to further my basketball career, partly because of the high standards of academics, and also for the atmosphere and feeling of community.
How/Why did you choose your major?
I chose education because my father is a teacher, and I grew up around it. His attitude and teaching style has truly inspired me to continue his name as a teacher. I also love working with kids, and it makes me feel good when I see a child succeed.
Why did you decide to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I decided to compete in sports at OWU because I have always had a dream of playing basketball at the collegiate level, and OWU, with its rich tradition and successful athletics, gave me this amazing opportunity.
What are your strengths as an athlete?
As an athlete, I believe my biggest strength is my work ethic. I am always trying to better myself outside of practice, whether that be lifting or getting extra shots up. Also, my height helps.
What is your go-to snack on game day?
Every game day I get the same sandwich from Subway with a chocolate chip cookie.
What movie or TV show would you like to star on and why?
It would be sweet to star on The Office or Friends. Both are shows I have watched many times and laughed at. Michael Scott and Chandler Bing are two people I personally connect with.
What is your ideal travel destination?
My ideal travel destination would be either Sweden or Germany. I've never been out of the country and these two places are rich in history and full of cool cities.
If you could visit another time period, when would it be and why?
I would love to be a part of the era of the Revolutionary War. I love history and have always been fascinated with American History.
