Major: Psychology
How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose OWU because of the swim team, also my parents are alumni.
How/Why did you choose your major?
I switched my major to psychology because of a professor, Chris Modica. I took his introductory course and ended up enjoying it immensely.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am proud of the 2019 conference meet where I was able to set a team record in the 500 freestyle.
What did you do to put yourself in that position to achieve that goal/accomplishment?
I have a ton of fantastic and competitive teammates. A lot of the time practice gets competitive and each person is trying to push each other, which creates an atmosphere where everyone strives to be the best they can be.
Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get to where you are?
Our head coach, Richard Hawes, pushes me every day. I can always do better and I can always push myself further than I thought.
