How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
When I first visited Ohio Wesleyan, I was attracted to the family atmosphere and becoming more connected and involved with the smaller class sizes.
How/Why did you choose your major?
I originally was an education major but as the world was changing. I found myself looking for different fields where I could make a larger impact on lives directly, and I ended up changing to social justice because I felt like I could impact marginalized individuals.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
Ohio Wesleyan athletics has a championship mentality and atmosphere. In regards to football, it has a blue-collar work mentality which attracted me when I had first met the coaching staff.
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
Beating Denison 19-10 last year in the seniors' last home game.
Do you have any pre-event rituals/superstitions?
I would take off my helmet with senior Michael Craider before every game underneath the cherry tree so we could get one last breath of fresh air before we “went to work.”
What are your plans after graduation?
I would like to work with at-risk youth and young adults and create a stable and positive lifestyle for them.
Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with?
Elon Musk, Jennifer Aniston, and Betty White.
What is your ideal travel destination?
I would really like to visit Japan and to see the countryside and Tokyo itself.
If you could visit another time, when would it be and why?
The late 1960s, early 1970s to see when the Rolling Stones came to the United States and to see the Grateful Dead perform live.
