How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because it gave me the ability to play the sport I love while being able to study what I wanted to. Ohio Wesleyan offered me the ability to get a good liberal arts education and continue to play baseball.
How/Why did you choose your major?
I chose my microbiology major because I took an Introduction to Microbiology course my freshman year, fall semester and really liked it. It also provided a good path to my desired career of biomedical research. I originally thought I wanted to be a chemistry major and I really like chemistry so I decided I could still minor in chemistry. I also chose to minor in philosophy because I liked critical thinking and broad topics in my philosophy classes and decided I could use a change from science classes all the time.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan because I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember and I’ve always wanted to continue playing as long as I could. The coaches and my teammates have made it a fantastic college experience.
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
My favorite memory was the baseball team trip to Florida my freshman year.
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I always put my uniform on in the same order.
How/why did you choose your position?
I like the freedom of being able to chase down fly balls.
If you were told you only had one week left to live, what would be on your bucket list?
Going to the beach along Highway 30A in Destin, Florida, for a week with my family.
When you're having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better?
I get ice cream.

Interstellar, 8 Mile, Anchorman
