Name: McKenna Tuttle
Class year: 2025
Major: Exercise science
Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose OWU because as soon as I got on campus it felt like home. I feel in love with OWU because of the amazing people that I've gotten to meet since I've been here.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose exercise science because I want to become a physical therapist. I enjoy helping people and making them feel better. It has become a passion of mine and I am already looking forward to that next chapter.
What is your number-one goal, personal or team, for this season?
For this season, one of our goals was to win the Bob Strimer (Director's Cup, recognizing the Ohio Wesleyan team with the highest cumulative grade-point average). We just recently found out that we won with an overall team GPA of 3.6. I could not be more proud of my teammates. We put in so much work on and off the field.
What event/sport other than your own would you like to try?
I really want to try rugby. I watched my first rugby match a couple weeks ago and I was really interested in the sport and strategy.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of?
I will sound like a broken record, but I am so proud of (our team) for winning the Bob Strimer (Director's Cup). It was three years in a row that we have won the award and I am honored to be a part of that.
Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get where you are?
Avery Panozzo is a wonderful person to look up to. She works hard and keeps her head down and whenever I feel unmotivated I know that she is working hard and that helps me.
Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with?
Bella Ramsey, my sister Avery, and George Washington
What is your ideal travel destination?
I want to go to Greece. It is so beautiful there and the culture is so rich. I think I would really enjoy my time in Greece.
If you could visit another time, when would it be and why?
I would want to go back to when they were writing The Constitution. I bet they had some heated arguments, and I would want to just sit back and watch it all happen.
