Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I was excited about the opportunity to continue my athletic career while having numerous academic opportunities and fun events occurring year-round.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose neuroscience because I am interested in the human brain and its intricacies that influence our cognition and behavior. I was curious about the makeup of the brain and how it influences the way we orient ourselves in the world.

My favorite memory with the volleyball team was our "Chopped" cooking competition at Coach (Kirsta Cobb)'s house.
What are your strengths as an athlete?
I work really hard to make sure everyone feels seen and appreciated on the team. Regardless of age or position, I think it's important to have a strong and positive culture because it sets the foundation to be a successful team.

I would like to try Orchesis because I love to dance in my free time.

What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a student-athlete?
Make your health (both mental and physical) your top priority. Your well-being comes first. If you aren't taking care of yourself, you won't be able to take care of matters on the court or in the classroom.
What is your dream job and why?
I experienced my dream job this past summer working as camp counselor in the middle of the woods in California. It was so rewarding getting to be a mentor for my girls and building connections away from technology and media. I learned so many skills that I will carry with me on my future endeavors.
