Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because of the beautiful campus and accepting community. I also met the volleyball team and everyone was amazing and made me feel at home.
Why did you choose your major?
I was back and forth with what major I was going to pursue. I knew I wanted to work in the health care field, and when the new public health major was added, I felt it was the right fit.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I had played volleyball all my life and knew I wanted to continue in college. I could feel the amazing culture of the volleyball team and knew it was the right fit for me.
What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
A personal strength I think I have as an athlete is my positive mindset. I am grateful for the opportunity I have worked for and I feel that shows when I play.
What event/sport other than your own would you like to try?
I think field hockey is a very interesting sport and I watched my first game this year. I have never played a field sport, which I think would be fun.
Which reality show would you like to star in and why?
Growing up, my dad and I would watch Survivor every Wednesday. It would be fun to try the challenges and form alliances with other members.
What is your theme song?
My theme song is Run This Town by Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Kanye West.
What is your ideal travel destination?
My ideal travel destination is anywhere in New Zealand because the pictures I have seen are beautiful.
What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a student-athlete?
I advise joining a program that fits well with the person's personality. I would also tell them all of the good things I have learned from being on a team and the memories and relationships I have built.
What is your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is fall because the leaves are changing, the weather is perfect, and the best holidays are in the fall.
