Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because it gave me the best opportunities to study while playing the sport that I love. I also love all the other opportunities OWU has to offer as a student.
Why did you choose your major?
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was little. All of my teachers have really influenced me throughout my life, and I want to guide my students in the best way possible to prepare them for their futures.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I like the balance between sports and academics that Division III athletics provides.
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I always have to line-dance with my teammates and journal before every game.
Why did you choose your position?
I have played a lot of positions, but being a defensive specialist was my favorite.
What is your number one goal, personal or team, for this season?
Winning the NCAC, while making lifelong memories!

Taylor Swift, Claire Solberg, and Ava Kutilek
What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a student-athlete?
Give yourself grace! Being a student-athlete in college is hard, so taking time for yourself and appreciating all the little things is so important.
What is your dream job and why?
My dream job is teaching English in a high school and coaching volleyball.
If you could visit another time, when would it be and why?
I would like to go 10 years into the future to see what I am doing after college.
