Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Megan Gentile (Newton, Mass./North) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 22, it was announced by the NCAC.

Gentile, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Gentile finished second in the shot put and seventh in the discus in helping Ohio Wesleyan to a fourth-place finish at the Kenyon College Invitational on Saturday.
