Ohio Wesleyan University junior Kaneat Nimcharoenwan (Bangkok, Thailand/Buckeye Valley) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 21, it was announced by the NCAC.

Nimcharoenwan, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's golf team, was named Men's Golfer of the Week.

Nimcharoenwan finished in a second-place tie among individuals to lead Ohio Wesleyan to a second-place finish at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial, hosted by Washington & Jefferson College at Southpointe Golf Club in Canonsburg, Pa.  Nimcharoenwan carded a one-over-par 73 during the first round and finished a single shot behind the tournament medalist.
