Barry Furst '68 was a 3-time all-conference selection in football.  A tight end, Furst was a second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection in 1965, 1966, and 1967.  He capped his junior season by setting a school record with 4 touchdown receptions against Otterbein.  Furst served as team co-captain his senior year, helping the Bishops to an undefeated season and the OAC championship.
