Betty Hileman '49 was named to OWU's all-star basketball team her sophomore through senior years, earning similar honors in field hockey her junior and senior years.  In her final field hockey season, she also was named to the Great Lakes Regional team.  She was a member of the Twin W varsity club, president of the Women's Physical Education Club, and a board member of the Women's Recreation Association.
