Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Bob Gardner '51 earned 3 letters in both football and track.  He received all-conference, All-Ohio, and honorable mention Little All-America honors his senior year.  He also was the team's leading scorer his senior year with 90 points, and was selected for the Bun Trophy as its Most Valuable Player.  In addition, he captured the 100- and 200-yard dash championships in the Ohio Athletic Conference meet his junior year and was co-captain of the track team during his senior year.
