Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Bob Hancher was an All-America quarterback, a 3-year starter and a splendid 2-way player.  He took over the starting quarterback spot as a sophomore and led the Bishops to an 8-0-1 record and the Ohio Athletic Conference title.  He ranked seventh in nation in passing as a junior, throwing for a then-school-record 11 TD, on the way to Williamson All-America honors.
