Bruce "Ox" Heisler '49 was a 200-plus pound lineman in football and lettered in baseball and golf as well.  A rugged blocker and hard-charging defensive tackle, "Ox" was named All-Ohio 3 times.  Following the 1948 football campaign, he received the Bun Trophy as the team's Most Valuable Player.
