Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Jim Brown '62 earned 4 letters in swimming.  He won 12 Ohio Athletic Conference medals, including 7 gold, and set conference records in both the 100- and 200-yard butterfly.  He was elected co-captain of both the 1961 and 1962 teams.  Six times he was named Athlete of the Week in The Transcript, Ohio Wesleyan's student newspaper, and he was selected as the Bijou (yearbook) Senior Athlete of the Year in 1962.
