Les Michael '40 was Ohio Wesleyan's baseball coach from 1952-80. A 4-time Coach of the Year in the Ohio Athletic Conference, he led four squads to OAC titles, and his 1958 Bishops were the nation's only undefeated team. Michael also was named 1969 Coach of the Year for NCAA College Division, District 4. He chaired the NCAA Baseball clinic from 1970-74, was a member of the National Research Committee of the American Association of Baseball Coaches, and chaired the District 4 Tournament Committee during his OWU tenure.
