Mike Richards '86 was a top-5 finisher at the NCAA Division III golf championship. His senior year, he tied for fourth place in the individual standings, at the time Ohio Wesleyan's best-ever individual national finish, as the Bishops placed fourth in the team standings. As a junior, he tied for second place in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament, leading the team to a fourth-place finish in the first season of NCAC competition. His sophomore year, he helped the team win the Ohio Athletic Conference championship in Ohio Wesleyan's last year of OAC competition and finish 18th in the NCAA Division III tournament.
