Neil Ringers ’91 totaled 12 All-American citations -- 9 in football and 3 in lacrosse -- the most by an Ohio Wesleyan athlete competing in team sports. In football, he was a 2-time pick as North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year and was the first player in NCAC history to be voted first-team all-league 4 straight seasons. He capped his lacrosse career by winning NCAA Division III Midfielder of the Year honors and helped the Bishops reach the Division III championship game 3 times.
