Robert "Deke" Edler '20 was a 2-time All-Ohio selection in football.  A halfback, he was an honorable mention All-Ohio pick by The Columbus Dispatch as a junior and was named to All-Ohio teams by The Columbus Dispatch and the Cleveland Plain Dealer as a senior.  He also played guard in basketball and shortstop in baseball and won 9 letters in the 3 sports.
