Russ Davis '56 earned 3 letters in basketball.  As a junior, he led the Bishops in scoring with 248 points.  He was the team's leading rebounder both his junior and senior years and was named the team's Most Valuable Player Award both years.  He was the team's scoring leader again in his senior year with 331 points.  He set an OWU records with a career field goal percentage of .5298. as well as the single-game record for most free throws.  He was elected captain of the team his senior year.
