Sally Knox '56 played basketball and volleyball for 4 years and softball for 2 years and was a member of the All-Star basketball team her junior year. Halbin was also a member of the swimming team for 2 years. She volunteered for 4 years in swimming for the American Red Cross, and directed the staging and lighting for the 1955 sychronized swimming show. Halbin was a member of the Twin "W", the women's physical education honorary, and the Physical Education Club, and was president of the Women's Recreation Association.
