Shirley Turvey '56 played tennis, field hockey, basketball, and volleyball for 3 years.  She was selected to the Buckeye field hockey team her senior year.  In tennis, she won the Ohio State tennis tournament her sophomore and junior years and finished as runner-up her senior year.  She was a member of the Women's Recreation Board her sophomore and junior years and served as the organization's treasurer her senior year.  She was a member of the Women's Physical Education Club for 3 years and served as president her senior year.  She won the Twin "W" her senior year.
