Second-seeded Oberlin swept all 3 doubles flights and won a pair of singles matches to defeat seventh-seeded Ohio Wesleyan in a quarterfinal match of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Friday in Gambier.  The match was played to decision.

Oberlin advances to the semifinals to face third-seeded Denison, a 5-1 winner over Allegheny on Friday.  Ohio Wesleyan will take on the Gators in a consolation semifinal match scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday.

Sophomore Jordan Leslie (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central) and freshman Alex Webb (Tipp City/Tippecanoe) lost to Finley Gates and Grace Porter at No. 1 doubles by an 8-2 score, senior Emily Kiourtsis (Pickerington/North) and senior Mackenzie Conway (Marion/Pleasant) fell to Carolyn Ball and Ariel Lewis at No. 2 doubles by an 8-1 count, and senior Becky Simon (Hilliard/Darby) and freshman Whitney Lonnemann (Cincinnati/Mariemont) lost to Preeya Shah and Brenna Sheldon at No. 3 doubles by a score of 8-0.

Kiourtsis lost to Sheldon at No. 2 singles by scores of 6-0, 6-2, while Webb lost to Shah at No. 5 singles by scores of 6-0, 6-1.
