Ohio Wesleyan 5, Wooster 0

Senior Becky Simon (Hilliard/Darby) and sophomore Jordan Leslie (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central) were double winners as Ohio Wesleyan blanked Wooster to win the seventh-place match in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Saturday in Granville.  The match was played to decision.

Simon teamed up with freshman Whitney Lonnemann (Cincinnati/Mariemont) to record a 9-8 (7-2) verdict over Lauren Grimanis and Emily Linville at No. 3 doubles.  Simon then handed Linville a 6-1, 6-2 defeat at No. 4 singles.

Leslie and freshman Alex Webb (Tipp City/Tippecanoe) defeated Rachel Dietz and Kelsey Jenkins by a count of 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.  Leslie then defeated Ashley Stockwell, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 1 singles.

Ohio Wesleyan's other win came from to duo of senior Emily Kiourtsis (Pickerington/North) and senior Mackenzie Conway (Marion/Pleasant), which defeated Stockwell and Lauren Gilliss, 8-2, at at No. 2 doubles.
