Ohio Wesleyan University junior Leonard Gleaves (Charlotte, N.C./Independence) has been named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week for the week of Sept. 24, it was announced by D3Football.com.

Gleaves, a cornerback, recorded a season-high 11 tackles, including 6 solo stops, in Ohio Wesleyan's 17-14 win over Case Reserve on Saturday.  He recovered a Case Reserve fumble inside the Ohio Wesleyan 1-yard line in the closing seconds of the first half to deny a CWRU scoring threat and protect a 14-7 lead, then intercepted a pass in Bishop territory to turn aside another Spartan threat.

Ohio Wesleyan is off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2001.
