Senior attacker Casey Helms (Sandwich, Mass./Bridgton Academy) staked the Bishops to a 1-0 lead less than a minute into the game, but Denison got goals from Justin DeMarchi and Eddie Vita less than a minute apart to take a 2-1 lead.
Foster scored at the 9:53 mark to even the game at 2-2, and junior midfielder Brendan Bouchard (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) tallied a man-up goal in the final minute of the quarter to give Ohio Wesleyan a 3-2 lead.

Bouchard countered with a pair of goals to give the Bishops a 5-4 lead midway through the quarter, but Denison's Teddy Powell scored to tie the game at 5-5 heading into halftime.
