Ohio Wesleyan advances to host Albion (Mich.) in an NCAA Division III second-round game at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Selby Stadium. Albion advanced in the tournament with a 13-12 win over Augustana (Ill.) in first-round action on Wednesday. The win was the Bishops' 17th of the season, breaking the school-record winning streak of 16 games set by the 1985 team.

Senior attacker Tommy Minkler (Oakton, Va./Landon School) finally broke the ice, taking a pass from senior midfielder Brendan Bouchard (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) and getting a shot past Carthage keeper Ryan Smith with 5:06 left in the first quarter.
Sophomore midfielder Matt Maier (Summit, N.J.) added an unassisted goal just under 90 seconds later, and Foster scored his first of the game with :32 left in the quarter for a 3-0 Ohio Wesleyan lead.
Senior attacker John Umbach (Montclair, N.J.) opened the second-quarter scoring with a goal off a pass from senior midfielder Sam Gioseffi (Harrison, N.Y.) just 25 seconds into the period, and junior midfielder Cooper Del Zotto (Orangeville, Ontario/Taft School) scored in transition just over a minute later for a 5-0 Bishop lead.
Junior midfielder Sean Roskamp (Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway West) scored off a Minkler feed midway through the quarter, and freshman midfielder Luke Leyden (Northfield, Mass./Northfield Mt. Hermon) and junior attacker Marcus Dietz (Westerville/St. Francis DeSales) added goals to increase the margin to 8-0.
As he did in the first quarter, Foster scored with :32 to play in the period for a 9-0 lead heading into the intermission.
Billy Lane put Carthage on the scoreboard with a goal early in the third quarter, and after a man-down score by senior attacker Edwin Foster (Medfield, Mass./Avon Old Farms (Conn.)), Jared Ferrell scored to bring the Red Men within 10-2.
Dietz and Kyle Foster answered with goals just over a minute apart to close out the third quarter scoring, and Maier added a man-up goal midway through the fourth quarter to give the Bishops a 14-3 lead.
