Box Score
Baldwin Wallace 76, Ohio Wesleyan 44

Freshman guard Rylie Pittard (Lafayette, Ind./Jefferson) drove for a lay-in that brought Ohio Wesleyan within a single point late in the first quarter, but Baldwin-Wallace opened up a double-digit lead in the second quarter on the way to a non-conferece win over the Bishops on Monday at Branch Rickey Arena.

Junior guard Megan Kuether (Osgood/Marion Local) gave the Bishops an early 2-0 lead with a jumper from the lane, but Baldwin Wallace scored the next 10 points, collecting a jumper from Sydney Clark, a pair of Katie Smith free throws, a 3-point play by Rachel Womeldorf, and a 3-pointer from Hannah Fecht to take a 10-2 lead with 3:59 left in the first period.

Ohio Wesleyan rallied behind a lay-in from junior post Mercedez Wood (Alliance/Marlington), a Kuether 3-pointer, and Pittard's lay-in to pull within 10-9 with 2:01 left in the quarter.  Trifectas by Fecht and Alissa Munro helped Baldwin Wallace to an 18-11 lead late in the quarter, but Kuether knocked down a jumper to make it 18-13 after one.

Kuether buried a 3-pointer early in the second quarter that brought the Bishops within 20-16, but Ohio Wesleyan would score only 2 points during the rest of the period as the Yellow Jackets built a 40-18 lead at the half, and the lead would remain in double digits through the remainder of the contest.

Kuether led the Bishops with 18 points, while junior post Taylor Dickson (Baltimore/Liberty Union) finished with 11.  Senior guard Hanna Fedorka (North Canton/Massillon Jackson) had a team-high 6 rebounds.

Fecht led Baldwin Wallace with 15 points.
