Sophomore midfielder Luke Leyden (Northfield, Mass./Northfield Mt. Hermon) put the Bishops on the scoreboard just under 90 seconds into the game, and Harvey's goal at the 10:25 mark of the first quarter made it 2-0. Dietz then scored midway through the period before feeding freshman attacker Max Tennant (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) for a goal with 2:17 to play.
Kenyon got on the scoreboard on a man-up goal by Alex Lopez during the final minute of the first quarter, and the Lords closed to within 5-3 after man-up goals by Lopez and Emilio Sosa.
Junior attacker Matt Maier (Summit, N.J.) scored midway through the second quarter to start the Bishops' second 4-0 run of the day. Ohio Wesleyan added a pair goals less than a minute apart midway through the period, with senior midfielder Cooper Del Zotto (Orangeville, Ontario/Taft School) scoring with 6:54 remaining and Harvey setting up Leyden for a score 45 seconds later to put the Bishops up, 8-3.
Tennant opened the third-quarter scoring with a goal off another Harvey assist for a 9-3 Ohio Wesleyan lead.
The Lords were still within 10-5 after a Chris Ferraro goal with 9:58 left in regulation time, but goals by Dietz, Harvey, and Tennant slammed the door, giving Ohio Wesleyan a 13-5 lead with less than 5 minutes to play.
Tennant led the Bishops with 3 goals, while Dietz had 2 goals and 3 assists and Harvey finished with 2 goals and 2 assists. Junior Ben Rigger (Decatur, Ga.) went the distance in the Ohio Wesleyan crease, recording 9 saves.
Lopez scored 3 goals for Kenyon. Patrick Shevelson had 21 saves for the Lords.
