Junior attacker Max Tennant (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) led the Ohio Wesleyan offense with 3 goals, but third-ranked Rochester Institute of Technology opened the game with a 5-0 run and that 5-goal margin would prove to be the difference in a non-conference contest on Saturday in Rochester, N.Y.

The Tigers got on the scoreboard on Beau Riley's goal at the 13:37 mark of the first quarter, then added goals from Kyle Killen and Aidan Milburn midway through the quarter before Ryan Barnable and Eli Salama scored during the final 2 minutes of the period for a 5-0 RIT lead.

Senior midfielder Luke Leyden (Northfield, Mass./Northfield Mt. Hermon) answered with a goal just over minute into the second quarter, and after Milburn tallied twice for the Tigers, Tennant found junior attacker Steven Hildebrand (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) to bring the Bishops within 7-2.

The teams traded goals throughout the second half, with the hosts getting scores from Riley and Cam Isaac before Ohio Wesleyan countered with goals from freshman attacker Will Anton (Madison, N.J.) and Tennant.  In the fourth quarter, Tennant answered with a goal after Isaac opened the fourth-quarter scoring with a goal for the Tigers, and Leyden and Tennant rang up scores in response to a pair of goals by RIT's Ryan Tandy.

Tennant led the Bishops with 3 goals and 2 assists, while Leyden finished with 2 goals and an assist.  Senior Ben Rigger (Decatur, Ga.) recorded 17 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan crease.

Milburn finished with 3 goals and an assist for the Tigers.  Walker Hare was credited with 16 saves.
