Senior third baseman Colin Stolly (Lima/Central Catholic) drove in 2 runs as Ohio Wesleyan built an 8-4 lead, but Arcadia rallied for a non-conference win over the Bishops on Monday in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Freshman catcher Matt Deskins (Mason) doubled home a run to break a 1-1 tie in the second, and Stolly plated a run during Ohio Wesleyan's 2-run fourth that increased the Bishop lead to 4-1.

The Knights came back to tie the game at 4 on Phil Pierfy's run-scoring double in the sixth, but Ohio Wesleyan responded with 4 runs in the bottom of the inning to retake the lead.  Stolly doubled in the go-ahead run, and senior second baseman Matthew Messick (Dublin/Scioto) and freshman outfielder Cole Antle (Grove City) singled home runs during the inning.

Arcadia erupted for 7 runs in the eighth inning, collecting 6 hits, 3 hit batsmen, and a walk during the uprising, and rapped out 6 hits in the ninth to add 5 more runs to the scoreboard.

Messick went 3-for-4 with 2 runs scored for Ohio Wesleyan, while Deskins and
senior outfielder Michael Blatchford (Shaker Heights) each went 3-for-5 with 2 runs scored.  Antle finished with 2 RBI.  Sophomore righthander Cody Brown (Lebanon) was charged with the loss in relief.

Mitch Blake, the second of 3 Knight pitchers, was the winning pitcher in relief
