Junior attacker Max Tennant (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) rang up 5 goals during the first quarter to help 12th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan build an 8-1 lead, and the Bishops went on to a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Wabash Wednesday in Crawfordsville, Ind.

The Little Giants took an early 1-0 lead when Dajon Thomas scored during the opening minute of play.

Junior attacker Steven Hildebrand (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) evened the game with a goal at the 11:40 mark, then found Tennant for a goal just 14 seconds later to put the Bishops ahead to stay.

Freshman midfielder Max Johnston (Toledo/St. Francis DeSales) and Tennant followed with goals to make it 4-1 midway through the quarter, and after a score by junior midfielder Cole Jamieson (Okemos, Mich.), Tennant tallied 3 goals during the final 1:25 of the quarter to extend the Ohio Wesleyan lead to 8-1.

Johnston and freshman midfielder Sean Gellen (Davis, Calif./Senior) opened the second quarter with goals before the Bishops scored 3 times in a span of 52 seconds, getting scores from Tennant, senior midfielder Trent Schulte (Coronado, Calif.) and freshman attacker Will Anton (Madison, N.J.) during that stretch.

Tennant led the Bishops with 6 goals, and junior Jack Jeschke (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) finished with 4 assists.  Senior Xander Pacilio (Philadelphia, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill), sophomore Joey Sichenzia (Sayville, N.Y.), freshman Zach Brasser (Westport, Conn./Millbrook (N.Y.) School), and freshman Connar Mulcahy (Arlington, Va./Gonzaga (D.C.) each played one quarter in the Ohio Wesleyan crease.

Thomas and Tucker Dixon each scored 2 goals for Wabash.  Max Atkins finished with 18 saves in the Little Giant goal.
