Senior outfielder Michael Blatchford (Shaker Heights), sophomore first baseman Canyon McWilliams (Shaker Heights), and freshman outfielder Nick Sala (Oviedo, Fla.) drove in 3 runs apiece to lead Ohio Wesleyan past Otterbein in a non-conference matchup on Thursday in Westerville.
Otterbein jumped to a 2-0 lead on a 2-run homer by Bryan Stopar.
Sophomore righthander Seth Pritchett (Centerville) settled down after that, blanking the Cardinals on 2 hits over the next 5.0 innings.
Blatchford drilled a 2-run homer down the rightfield line to even the game in the third, and the Bishops took the lead in the fourth on Sala's RBI single.
Sala smashed a 2-run homer in the sixth, and Ohio Wesleyan pulled away with 5 runs in the eighth, highlighted by McWilliams' bases-clearing double.
