Sophomore midfielder Jenn Douglas (Easton, Md./Saints Peter and Paul), sophomore attacker Megan McElgunn (Cohasset, Mass.), and junior attacker Sloane Baumgartner (Naperville, Ill./St. Francis) scored for Ohio Wesleyan in a North Coast Athletic Conference game against Wooster on Saturday in Wooster.

The Fighting Scots struck for 3 goals in a span of 36 seconds to kick off a 7-0 game-opening run.  Laura Papp scored twice during the early 3-0 burst, and Alexa Mellis had a pair of goals as the Scots took a 7-0 lead at the 19:00 mark of the first half.

Douglas put the Bishops on the scoreboard just 35 seconds later, but Wooster responded by scoring the next 4 goals of the game to increase the margin to 11-1 with 14:53 remaining.

McElgunn and Baumgartner tallied goals as Ohio Wesleyan closed to within 12-3, but the Scots scored the final 3 goals of the half.

Senior Kelly Coffyn (Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge) finished with 7 saves.

Mellis led Wooster with 5 goals and an assist.  Katie Shideler and Caroline Dent combined for 5 saves for the Fighting Scots.
