Last year:  6th in North Coast Athletic Conference; 19th at NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional

This year:  17 student-athletes on campus, 0 remote learners

Team is in:  Part 1 of re-acclimatization

What does a practice look like?
"We pretty much look exactly the same as before," Carlson said.  "The difference is negligible because of the nature of our sport.  We're outside and not next to each other -- we're able to practice as-is.

"It has limited some of our team bonding activities, and we are not getting off-campus these first few weeks like we normally would.  We are staying within running distance of campus."

The team is limited in the number of student-athletes that can be in the locker room at a particular time.

What other changes have you made?
"We're doing a variety of time trials on the track, and things that keep people engaged and have some competitive aspects."

What is next?
"It depends on the (number of) positive tests on campus.  If we see a spike, we'll stay close to campus."
