Ohio Wesleyan field hockey coach Brenda Semit was named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference's field hockey all-decade team, it was announced by the SUNYAC.
The all-decade team was selected from student-athletes who competed in the SUNYAC in at least one season during the 2009-10 academic year through the 2019-20 academic year, and who were named to the All-SUNYAC team more than once or named Athlete of the Year once.
During her Cortland career, Semit was a 2-time, first-team All-America selection; a 3-time, first-team all-region pick: a 2-time, first-team All-ECAC Mid-Atlantic selection; and a 3-time, first-team All-SUNYAC choice. She ranked fifth at Cortland in career assists and 11th in points, and helped the Red Dragons win 3 SUNYAC titles and make 4 NCAA Division III playoff appearances.
