The Ohio Wesleyan No. 1 doubles team of sophomore Katie Lee (Chardon/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) and junior Ruthie Silberman (Deerfield, Ill.) stood out, but 24th-ranked Denison recorded a win in a non-divisional matchup of North Coast Athletic Conference rivals on Sunday in Granville.

Lee and Silberman faced the 19th-ranked Big Red duo of Alex Cash and Hannah Cianciola and lost a hard-fought 8-4 decision.

In singles play, Lee fell to Sydney Cianciola by scores of 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Silberman lost a 6-1, 6-1 verdict to Sarah Robertson at No. 3 singles.
