Senior midfielder Sean Gellen (Davis, Calif./Senior) collected a goal and 4 assists as 20th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan took a 9-4 halftime lead and went on to a win in a non-divisional matchup of North Coast Athletic Conference rivals on Tuesday in Wooster.

Gellen staked the Bishops to a 1-0 lead just 37 seconds into the contest, but Wooster rallied with a run of 3 goals in less than a minute midway through the period, with Ryan You scoring twice.

Ohio Wesleyan answered with a 4-goal burst, with Gellen setting up junior attacker Henry Hasenberg (Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola) on a goal at the 6:37 mark of the quarter and Hasenberg paying it forward with an assist to junior attacker Whit Stopak (North Canton/Hoover) just 13 seconds later.  Senior attacker Will Anton (Madison, N.J.) and junior midfielder Jack Damon (Portsmouth, R.I.) followed with goals for a 5-3 Bishop lead with 3:18 remaining in the quarter.

Wooster closed to within 5-4 on Ben Kennedy's goal late in the first period, but Ohio Wesleyan outscored the Fighting Scots, 4-0, during the second quarter, with Stopak contributing a goal and 2 assists during the period.

Gellen and Damon opened the third quarter with man-up goals just 38 seconds apart, increasing the margin to 11-4, and Hasenberg would set up 2 goals as Ohio Wesleyan extended the lead to 14-6 after 3 quarters.

Shaun Peirce and Connor Mangan each scored twice for Wooster during the fourth quarter to account for the 14-10 final.

Gellen finished with 2 goals and 4 assists, while Stopak added 3 goals and 2 assists and Damon tallied 3 goals.

Senior Zach Brasser (Westport, Conn./Millbrook (N.Y.) School) stopped 9 shots in the Ohio Wesleyan crease.

Vinny DiLeo had 2 goals and 2 assists for Wooster.  Adam Meyer was credited with 16 saves for the Fighting Scots.
