Freshman midfielder Sophia DelGallo (Braintree, Mass.) put Ohio Wesleyan on the scoreboard, but Wooster recorded a win in a non-divisional matchup of North Coast Athletic Conference rivals on Wednesday in Wooster.

The Fighting Scots opened the evening's scoring with back-to-back goals from Alexa Mellis, and later added a burst of 3 goals in 80 seconds, with Katie Harvey contributing a goal and an assist during that run.

Harvey would score twice more and Jill Murray added 2 goals and 2 assists as Wooster built an 11-0 lead.

DelGallo scored off a pass from senior midfielder Megan McElgunn (Cohasset, Mass.) during the final minute of the first half.

Senior defender Emily Sheridan (North Smithfield, R.I./Marianapolis (Conn.) Prep) converted a free-position shot early in the second half.

Freshman midfielder Nicole Klabus (Delaware/Hayes) and sophomore attacker Grace Egan (Ridgefield, Conn.) added goals later in the period.

Senior Rachel Albers (Mason) was credited with 14 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan crease.

Mellis and Britta Treu had 4 goals apiece for Wooster.  Katie Shideler and C.C. Dent combined for 6 saves.
