Senior midfielder Megan McElgunn (Cohasset, Mass.) led Ohio Wesleyan with 2 goals, but 13th-ranked Denison defeated the Bishops in a North Coast Athletic Conference West Division contest on Saturday at Selby Stadium.

The Big Red built an 8-0 lead, with Liza Farnham scoring 3 goals during that game-opening run.

Sophomore midfielder Caroline Kiker (Shaker Heights) put the Bishops on the scoreboard by converting a free-position shot at the midway point of the first half.

McElgunn added a man-up goal later in the half.

Freshman midfielder Sophia DelGallo (Braintree, Mass.) and McElgunn tallied back-to-back goals during the second half, and senior attacker Emily Sheridan (North Smithfield, R.I./Marianapolis (Conn.) Prep) converted a free-position shot to wrap up the day's scoring.

McElgunn led the Bishops with 2 goals.

Senior Rachel Albers (Mason) finished with 8 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan goal.

Farnham led Denison with 5 goals.  Caroline O'Dea and Maeve Caldwell combined for 1 save in the Denison crease.
