The doubles team of sophomore Olivia Guenzel (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Louis Park) and sophomore Erin McPherson (Akron/Ellet) led Ohio Wesleyan in the opener of a North Coast Athletic Conference West Division doubleheader against DePauw on Saturday in Greencastle, Ind.

In the second match, the doubles team of sophomore Katie Lee (Chardon/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) and junior Ruthie Silberman (Deerfield, Ill.) led the Bishops.

Saturday's first match saw the duo of Guenzel and McPherson, playing at No. 2 doubles, drop an 8-3 decision to Paige Bennett and Kylie Shaw.  At No. 1 doubles, Lee and Silberman fell to Erin Friedrich and Amanda Showalter by an 8-2 score.

At No. 5 singles, sophomore Alexis Yracheta (Chicago, Ill./Chicago Academy for the Arts) lost the first set, 6-4, to Shaw before falling by a 6-0 score in the second set.

In the nightcap, Lee and Silberman lost to Friedrich and Showalter, 8-2, at No. 1 doubles.  Silberman and Friedrich also matched up at No. 2 singles, with Friedrich taking a 6-1, 6-1 decision.
