at NCAA Division III championship

Sophomore Levi Kilian (Ault, Colo./Heritage Christian Academy) represented Ohio Wesleyan during the second day of the NCAA Division III championship meet, hosted by North Carolina A&T University and the Greensboro Sports Foundation on Friday in Greensboro, N.C.

Kilian ran in the second heat of the preliminaries of the 800-meter run.  He started strong and was at the front of the pack early in the opening lap, but was passed at the break point. 

During the second lap of the race, Kilian looked to mount a comeback reminiscent of his winning performance in the 1500-meter run at the North Coast Athletic Conference championship meet on May 9, but ended up finishing eighth in his heat in 1:54.82, and did not advance to Saturday's final.  He finished 16th in the final NCAA Division III standings.
