22nd of 25 at All-Ohio championship

Senior Libby Norlander (Carlsbad, Calif.) led Ohio Wesleyan at the All-Ohio championship meet, hosted by Cedarville University on Friday in Cedarville.

Miami won the meet with 37 points to 92 for Akron.  Dayton finished third with 103 points, followed by Ohio University (108), Cedarville (121), Walsh (158), Malone (224), John Carroll (266), and Cincinnati (289).  Case Reserve completed the top 10 teams with 319 points, followed by Findlay (330), Otterbein (362), Kent State (372), Wooster (398), Ohio Northern (399), Wittenberg (417), Mount Union (423), Cleveland State (485), and Ashland (507).  Mount Vernon Nazarene rounded out the top 20 teams with 510 points, followed by Tiffin (532), Ohio Wesleyan (689), Bluffton (709), Wilmington (720), and Heidelberg (740).  Wright State, Ohio Dominican, Lake Erie, Rio Grande, Defiance, Shawnee State, Muskingum, Lorain County CC, and Wilberforce did not record team scores.  Ohio Wesleyan finished eighth among the 11 NCAA Division III teams that recorded team scores.

Beth Arentz of Akron won the race in 21:31.1 for the 6000-meter course, with Carmen Riano of Miami finishing 5 seconds behind.

Norlander finished 126th in 25:59.5.

Freshman Eleanor Luttman (Farmington Hills, Mich./Farmington) was 162nd in 27:26.6, senior Jenna Hotchkiss (Newark/Licking Valley) finished 175th in 28:00.9, freshman Aubrey Dunham (Minerva) placed 181st in 28:29.5, and senior Kylee McFarland (Granville) rounded out the Ohio Wesleyan scoring by finishing 182nd in 28:29.6.

Junior Mikayla Watts (Geneva) finished 192nd in 29:37.6.
