Sophomore guard Lauren Denison (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial) scored 6 points and sophomore guard Kasey Schipfer (Mechanicsburg), senior post Cierra Joiner (Centerburg), and senior post Molly Delaney (Delaware/Olentangy) added 5 apiece as Ohio Wesleyan built a first-half lead, but 12th-/16th-ranked DePauw came back in the second half and took a North Coast Athletic Conference win on Saturday in Greencastle, Ind.

Schipfer launched a 3-pointer to kick off the day's scoring, and Denison connected from long range twice during the period, the latter trifecta giving Ohio Wesleyan a 9-4 lead late in the quarter.

The Bishops opened the second quarter with a 11-2 run that included a pair of buckets by Joiner, hoops by Schipfer and Delaney, and a 3-pointer from freshman wing Kelsey Wolfe (Apple Creek/Waynedale) on the way to a 20-8 lead at the 6:15 mark of the quarter.

DePauw came back with a pair of 3-pointers from Maddie Howe and another by Mya Shannon, and would even the score at 25 when Isabella Ogliore sank a pair of free throws during the final minute of the half, but the Bishops took the lead into the locker room when freshman wing Karlee Ross (Beverly/Fort Frye) canned a jumper with :25 remaining.

Delaney buried a 3-pointer during the opening seconds of the second half to push the Ohio Wesleyan lead back to 5, but DePauw answered with a 15-3 run to take the lead for good.

Joiner converted a 3-point play midway during the fourth quarter to bring the Bishops within 44-38, and it was still a 50-43 game after a Denison 3-pointer with 3:06 left, but the Tigers went 6-for-6 from the line during the final 62 seconds to pull away for the win.

Joiner led the Bishops with 11 points and 8 rebounds.  Delaney added 10 points and sophomore point guard Elizabeth Homan (Cincinnati/Anderson) had a team-high 5 assists.
