Ohio Wesleyan University senior Veronica Hardman (Blenheim, New Zealand/Ravenswood) and junior Allie Crawford (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III All-Region VI field hockey teams, it was announced today by the NFHCA.
Hardman, a midfielder, was a first-team all-region selection, while Crawford, a forward, was a second-team all-region choice.
Hardman had 5 goals and an assist this season, including the game-winning goal in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament championship game. Hardman was a first-team All-NCAC pick in 2022.
Crawford led the NCAC in goals (15) and points (35), ranked second in the league in game-winning goals (5), and tied for fourth in the conference in assists (5). Crawford was NCAC Offensive Player of the Year and was a first-team all-conference selection.
Ohio Wesleyan finished its season with a 16-3 record. The Bishops finished second in the NCAC championship race with a 7-1 record, then won the NCAC tournament to claim the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III tournament.
