Junior Luke Waryck (North Ridgeville/Avon) won an event for Ohio Wesleyan at the OWU Open, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Gordon Field House.
The meet was not scored.
Waryck won the high jump by clearing 5-9¼ and added a fourth-place finish in the shot put.
Other standouts for the Bishops included freshman Mason Myers (Perrysville/Hillsdale), who placed second in the long jump, third in the triple jump, and fifth in the 200-meter dash; freshman Coleman Kegler (Columbus/Upper Arlington), who finished second in the 400-meter dash; junior Alex Reidell (Centerville), who was third in the weight throw; freshman Simon Leck (Toledo/St. Francis DeSales), who was fourth in the 400-meter dash; senior Joey Verdugo (Honolulu, Hawai'i/Upper Sandusky), who placed fourth in the pole vault; junior Wyatt Wells (Marion/Pleasant), who was fifth in the pole vault; freshman Logan McSwords (Marysville), who was seventh in the high jump; sophomore Antonio Sonego (Medina), who placed seventh in the shot put; and senior Cooper Berry (Middlefield, Conn./Coginchaug), who placed eighth in the pole vault.
